Biosketch |
|||||||||||||
Xiaobo Qu is a professor of Department of Electronic Science in School of Electronic Science and Engineering (National Model Microelectronics College) at Xiamen University in China. He received received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in communication engineering from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From July 2014 to September 2014, he was the Visiting Scientist with Swedish NMR Centre, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. From February 2012 to July 2018, he was the Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor with Xiamen University, where he is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Electronic Science. The journals published by Dr.Qu as the first or corresponding author including IEEE Trans. Medical Imaging/IEEE Trans. Signal Processing/IEEE Trans. BioMedical Engineering/IEEE Trans. Neural Networks and Learning Systems/Medical Image Analysis/Angewandte Chemie International Edition, etc. He is the Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. Computational Imaging, Senior Editor of BMC Medical Imaging and was on the editorial board of Quantitative Imaging in Medicine and Surgery. He was awarded the E. K. Zavoisky Stipend (2014/2016/2018/2020) of ISMRM Scientific Meeting, Swedish Wenner-Gren Fellowship (2014), Distinguished Young Scholar Award in Natural Science Foundation of Fujian Province of China (2018), Faculty Research Award (2014), He Yici Chair Professor Award (2018) at Xiamen University, Excellent Young Scientists Fund in National Natural Science Foundation of China (2021), respectively. His research interests include magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, signal and image representations, computational imaging, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
