Job Description
The Computational Sensing Group in the Scholl of Electronic Science and Engineering at Xiamen University invites candidates for a postdoctoral researcher opportunity. This position will work on magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, signal and image representations, computational imaging, machine learning, and artificial intelligence research.
Computational Sensing Group integrates information and mathematical theory, signal and image processing methods, artificial intelligence technology. It is closely integrated with optimization models, numerical algorithms, high-performance distributed computing and big data cloud platforms. In order to establish a new theoretical method of high-efficiency, high-fidelity and low-cost computational perception. Perception ranges from atomic molecular molecular imaging to large-scale remote sensing images, and virtual networked big data medical and social networks. Specific job functions for this advertised position
Advanced image analytics on MRSI data, implementation of artificial intelligence technologies to image processing, imaging system modeling, instrumentation design, building, and evaluation, image reconstruction, phantom studies, data collection, processing, and management.
Qualifications
• A recent Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Communication and Information System, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• A strong background in programming, data science and computational biology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills including demonstrated technical writing capabilities to efficiently organize data for publication and presentation.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with a diverse technical and scientific staff within a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.
