Biosketch

Di Guo is an associate professor of Department of Computer Science and Technology in School of Computer and Information Engineering at Xiamen University of Technology in China. She received her B.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Communication Engineering from Xiamen University, China, in 2005 and 2012 respectively. From 2009 to 2011, she worked as a visiting scientist in Dept. of Electrical Engineering at University of Washington, Seattle, USA. From May 2012, she is a faculty member (Associate Professor from July 2015 to current, and Assistant Professor from May 2012 to July 2015) at Xiamen University of Technology. Her research interests include signal processing in wireless sensor netowrks and communication, sparse signal and image processing, wavelets and other multi-scale transforms. Di Guo has been a member of IEEE and IEEE Women in Engineering. She was awarded IBM Distinguished Student Award in 2012, student grant for IEEE ISCAS 2012, Huawei Scholarship in 2011, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Scholarship in 2009, and the 3rd Prize for the 4th National Postgraduates Mathematical Contests in Modeling in 2007.
