Dr. Ying Chen has received the Bachelor degree in physics, Master degree in optics and Ph.D degree in radio physics from Xiamen University respectively in 2003, 2007 and 2014. She worked as a postdoc under Prof. Jianhui Zhong at the Brain Imaging Science and Technology Center of Zhejiang University from August 2014 to March 2017. She worked as a visiting scientist at Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine, Division 4 (INM-4) of Jülich Forschungzentrum, Germany at the invitation of the director, Prof. N. Jon Shah. She has solid background knowledge in MRI physics, mathematics and computer programming. She has 6 years' experience in operating 7T Varian animal scanner and sequence designing, 3 year's experience on 3T Siemens Prisma/Trio human scanner and IDEA sequence development platform (VD13D/VB17). She has extensive skills in animal (rats & mice) MR imaging/spectroscopy and human MR imaging/spectroscopy.
