The doctoral student Xinlin Zhang under the guidance of Professor Xiaobo Qu of Xiamen University successfully applied to the research group of Professor Michael Unser of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne(French: Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Abbreviation: EPFL) for joint training.
Xiaobo Qu is a professor of Department of Electronic Science in School of Electronic Science and Engineering (National Model Microelectronics College) at Xiamen University in China. He received received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in communication engineering from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From July 2014 to September 2014, he was the Visiting Scientist with Swedish NMR Centre, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. From February 2012 to July 2018, he was the Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor with Xiamen University, where he is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Electronic Science.
Professor Michael Unser is an expert in medical bioimaging. His research in sampling theory, wavelet analysis, stochastic process, and computational bioimaging is well-known internationally. He is a member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences, IEEE Fellow and EURASIP.
Dr. Xinlin Zhang is a doctoral student in the Department of Electronic Science of Xiamen University. Her main research interests are signal processing, magnetic resonance imaging, and computational imaging.
